Get in the Valentine’s Day spirit and join us as we partner with The Matthews House for our February Done in a Day.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 we will volunteer at The Matthews House Sweetheart Dance, which is an opportunity for its program participants to enjoy a catered meal and fun activities. The Sweetheart Dance is at the Community Life Center at Fullana, 220 North Grant Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80521(entrance/parking off Loomis).
Volunteer for a two-hour shift or stay for the entire evening:
- Volunteers from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. will help with set-up and check-in.
- Volunteers from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. will help with activities (kids crafts, photo booth, etc.), directing people, and serving food and drinks. The Surgery Center of Fort Collins will cater the meal.
The mission of the Matthews House is to empower youth and families by building trusting relationships and providing resources to disrupt the cycles of poverty and abuse.
