May/June Done in a Day Activity! 
JLFC will be collecting food for the Food Bank for Larimer County at the May Celebration and June Meeting. The need for the food bank has been ever increasing: The average monthly income of Food Share clients is just over $900/month, on average clients seek food assistance 3 times each month. In 2009, 27,430 people were served through the FBLC Food Share pantry locations in Fort Collins and Loveland and 7.5 million pounds of food was distributed to Larimer County residents in need valued at $9 million. Please bring your non-perishable items to the May Celebration, we will have tables set up to collect the items. The food bank has their regular needs, and the JLFC PSD snack program also utilizes the food bank. You can help replenish items for the snack program as well to ensure healthy snacks are available to our client kids all summer as well.
