2017-2018 Annual Snapshot

A Note From the President

The Junior League has evolved into one of the oldest, largest and most effective women’s volunteer organizations in the world, encompassing one hundred and fifty thousand women in nearly three hundred Leagues in four countries. Here in Northern Colorado, we are an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We are a group of strong, modern women dedicated to rolling up our sleeves and making a difference. Through local, strategic partnerships and good old-fashioned member volunteer work our organization creates opportunities for women and children to thrive. Read on to learn more about how we’ve impacted our community over the past year. -Savannah Ahrens, 2017-2018 President

What our Members Are Saying…

I love Junior League because I believe in the empowerment of strong, passionate women! -Kelly Geary, Vice President of Communications

JLFC membership is an experience that has renewed my self-confidence and self-esteem, after a roller-coaster 35 year professional career in Higher Education. I have found new friends, gotten more involved in the community, taken on new challenges, and discovered passions for “giving back” that I never knew I had. –Sonia ImMasche, Sustaining Member and Past President

Training

Training opportunities are a key area of focus for the Junior League of Fort Collins. In 2017- 2018 we offered training opportunities to our membership in:
