Community Impact

JUNIOR LEAGUE CAREER CLOSET
The Junior League Career Closet is the signature project of the Junior League of Fort Collins, providing clothing appropriate for work and school to more than 400 women annually at no cost to them, in an effort to help clients achieve economic independence.

HUNGER INITIATIVE
Since 2006, the Junior League of Fort Collins has worked to address the issue of childhood hunger in Northern Colorado. Through its Hunger Initiative, the Junior League partners with the Food Bank of Larimer County and its Kids Link program to provide snacks to schools that serve children in need.

LINCOLN CENTER IMAGINATION SERIES
The Junior League of Fort Collins partners with the Lincoln Center on its Imagination Series, providing free tickets to low-income children and families so that they can be exposed to a variety of quality entertainment.

VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION
The Junior League of Fort Collins is a volunteer organization. In addition to contributing hundreds of volunteer hours to implement our own initiatives, League members are also involved in monthly volunteer projects in support of other area nonprofit organizations.

PAST PROJECTS
Since its beginning as the Junior Women’s Club in 1964, the Junior League of Fort Collins has established and supported hundreds of programs and efforts to improve our community. A sample of these programs is available by clicking the past projects link above.
